Description: RACERSITES.COM is a leading provider of web design, development and management services to the motor sport industry. We have found a niche in the auto racing industry with clients ranging from entry-level racers to some of the top drivers, teams, and companies in the world.

Our projects range from simple identity-based initiatives to custom, database-enabled solutions. RACERSITES.COM focuses on combining unique, eye-catching design with our proprietary CMS to offer our clients true end-to-end web site management solutions.

We have experienced significant, rapid growth and, as a result, are looking to expand our team. We are looking for a highly-motivated interactive designer who is as passionate about web design as they are determined to connecting with client solutions.

Requirements:

• 4+ years designing interactive projects
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and working knowledge of
• Flash (as well as Action Script)
• Expert understanding of HTML, Dynamic HTML, and CSS (ability to generate cross-browser compliant code a must)
• Continuous learner who keeps current with standards-based coding and emerging trends and technologies
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while managing multiple deadlines and project of varying size and complexity
• Unwavering commitment to quality work that is on-time and on budget
• Ability to brainstorm, creating from limited content
• Ability to work independently
• Superior communication skills, verbal and written
• Occasional on call or on demand responses during "non-peak" hours
• Ability to work both remotely and on-site
• An interest in motor sports is a plus

Responsibilities:

The primary job functions will involve working with a project manager to understand the client's needs, and ultimately execute a compelling, custom site design from concept to completion.

Job Duties:

• Work in concert with project manager
• Research and concept design solutions based on client needs
• Create custom, visually compelling designs from scratch through the use of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Generate HTML/CSS code to generate a functioning web site
• Ongoing maintenance of existing client graphical elements

All candidates will be required to present an online portfolio of relevant work.
